In the autumn of 2020, Google released a new smartphone in their Pixel range: the Google Pixel 5 Black. Like previous years, this phone is known for its excellent camera software. This means that the two cameras take photos that are just as good, or even better, as devices with three or more lenses!

The device has a 6-inch display and a 4080mAh battery, which means it will last you all day. It has the Snapdragon 765G processor, which runs most apps with ease. Besides that, the entry-level price is lower than top phones from other brands.

Excellent camera

Many other top devices nowadays have three or more camera lenses. This Pixel 5, in contrast, has only two. However, this does not mean that you will take bad photos with it. Google is known for their phones with very good camera software, so this smartphone can easily keep up with the rest.

Larger battery

A big disadvantage of last year's Pixel 4 was that it had a very small battery, which meant you couldn't use it for a whole day. Fortunately, they have changed this with the Pixel 5. It's equipped with a 4080mAh battery and 18W quick charging, so you'll always have enough power.

Fast processor

The whole thing is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor. Thanks to the 8GB of RAM, multitasking is also not a problem and you switch effortlessly between apps.

Relatively compact with 6-inch display

The 6-inch screen is on the small side if you compare it to the gigantic smartphones of 6.5 inches and above from other brands. This makes it relatively compact for a top-of-the-range phone, making it ideal for people who don't want a huge device in their pocket.

It's also an OLED panel, which makes colours appear extra vivid. The refresh rate of 90Hz makes sure that images and animations are very fluid. Together with the high resolution, this makes for a great viewing experience!

Fastest Android updates

Of course, the Pixel 4 Black runs on Android. Because both the device and the operating system are from Google, you always get updates super fast. For example, it comes with Android 11 out of the box, while this version is not yet available on many other devices.

Always enough storage

The Pixel 5 comes with an internal storage of 128GB. For most people, this is more than enough, because you can store a lot of apps and multimedia on it. If you still have too little space, you can use cloud services, such as Google Drive.
